Today’s random scans posting action is about a manga I fell in love with recently, which also is actually being animated : Sora no Manimani.

I decided to check this manga when I saw the news about it being animated about 3 months ago in Newtype. Well, I will start by saying this :

If you’re not already reading/watching this, you fail.

I won’t talk about the story ’cause well… it actually doesn’t get much of a story. This is a ‘slice-of-life’ manga about an astronomy club, an iyashi-kei manga filled with Love & Piece, comedy, and a very bit of drama. If you’re into this, you just can’t miss it.

And more importantly… You never saw such a high concentration of cute girls in a manga in you life, EVAR. From the main characters, to the unnamed background sub-characters, this manga gets nothing but lovely female characters.

Ok, I guess it’s enough for an introduction. Now let’s spread many <3s as usual~

Saku, the main guy, is some kind of mix of Kyon and Yuuki (genderswapped Nagato) : a ‘tsukkomi’ bookworm who joins the astronomy club (not totally) against his will.

As I said at the beginning of this post, the anime is actually being aired. I don’t find the character design to be as cute as in the manga, but that’s still a very cute and enjoyable show. I like the opening very much~

Avant de partir en vacance j’avais la main relativement chaude (enfin ‘tiède’ plutôt), mais là je sais pas, durant ces vacances et depuis que je suis revenu la semaine dernière j’ai pas touché à mon crayon… FUCK orz

Bref… En attendant que la flamme se rallume (et accessoirement pour dépuceler le mois de septembre sur le calendrier de ce blog), un peu d’autosatisfaction avec le Top 10 de mes junks sur ma page pixiv.

Bon bien sûr, ça fait plutôt pitié au niveau du nombre des points… orz

Mais bon, considérant le nombre de fanarts uploadés par jours sur le site (facile 20 par secondes, sérieusement – quand j’en upload un à peine je rafraichis la page principale qu’il est déjà parti en page 2), sans parler du nombre de gens qui touchent vraiment leur bille (c’est un site jap après tout, alors je post avec beaucoup d’humilité), je suis plutôt content de recevoir ne serait-ce qu’un malheureux vote, vu que les fanarts avec 0 vote doivent être légion. Alors quand un de mes junks est bookmarké (par un jap), c’est pas l’apothéose mais presque. XD

#1 “Mugi-sama ga miteru” : Celui qui a à la fois la plus haute note (70 lol) et le plus grand nombre de vues parmi tout mes junks. Pas vraiment une surprise, 4koma + une des séries les plus populaires du moment.

#2 “This place is sanctuary” : Le seul junk en couleur que j’ai posté sur pixiv… et puis bon j’en ai fait que 2 de toute façon et celui-là est le seul que j’ai refait au pen-tool >_>. Ca confirme juste ce que je savais déjà : les dessins en couleurs ont plus d’appeal. J’ai plus qu’à me remettre sérieusement à toshop…

#3 “Onna no ko wo rezu ni mesamesaseru smile” : C’est le rough de la Hamzawa-san dans la première case de “Mugi-sama ga miteru”. J’aime bien ce sourire alors je l’ai posté, et contre toute attente il a reçu 5 votes. Le titre se traduit par “Le sourire qui rend les filles gay”, ceux qui connaissent très bien le manga comprendront. XD

#4 “Kami no Mistake !?” : Mon dernier junk en date.

#5 “Kotobuki Tsumugi” : Ma Mugi-chan fait vite-fait avant le 4koma. Elle a été bookmarké ! :o

#6 “Kasugano Sakura” : Ça c’est la petite surprise. Le plus vieux truc que j’ai posté, je m’attendait pas à recevoir un seul vote dessus…

#7 “Manabi Straight – Dai 5wa ~ Sono toki no ato…” : souvenirs~

#8 “Konata no Yome” : Personellement mon préféré, et en toute franchise j’aurai aimé au moins quelques votes de plus dessus… Mais bon, ça tient qu’à moi de le coloriser. En plus j’aimerai vraiment voir ce qu’il donnerait avec une bonne colorisation. Et pourquoi pas m’en faire un t-shirt aussi. XD

#9 “Kusakabe Misao” : Peu de votes mais 2 bookmarks ! Dont un par un mec qui touche pas mal sa bille et que j’ai mis dans mes favoris du coup. :)  J’avoue, qu’un mec qui dessine bien puisse avoir éprouvé un minimum d’interet dans l’un de mes junks, c’est vraiment le meilleur compliment pour moi.

#10 : Là on arrive à des notes très très basses donc plusieurs ex-æquo…

Voilà… Je sais que je devrais être en train de préparer mon voyage plutôt que d’écrire des conneries, mais j’ai eu comme une idée de post comme ça alors bon…

Vu que ça va devenir vrai dans bientôt pour moi, j’ai fait quelques achats à Junku histoire de me motiver…

Japon – Country Guide (petit futé) : J’ai pris cette édition parce qu’elle semblait assez complète… et puis bon c’est aussi la seule qu’ils avaient. ^^;

Pour le peu que j’ai feuilleté, y’a quelques plans et surtout pas mal d’adresses et de conseils. Mais bon on sent quand même que c’est un bouquin pour des voyages relativement court, puisqu’au niveau des hébergements c’est surtout des adresses d’hôtels ou de ryokan, avec des indications de prix à la nuit ou à la semaine, voir parfois au mois mais rarement. Donc des endroits qui reviennent cher en cas de long séjour.

Mais bon comme j’ai dit y’a pas mal de conseils qui ont l’air utiles, comme sur comment retirer de l’argent ou prendre les transports. À potasser plus en détails donc.

Plan de Tokyo (Institut National Geographic) : Un plan détaillé de Tokyo pas cher. Histoire de commencer à m’entrainer à repérer les endroits sur une carte. Y’a pas un nom de rue, juste des numéros. ^^;

Cool Japan – Otaku Nippon Guide (Moe-Rurubu) : Haha XD Un bouquin en jap plutôt bien faoutu avec plan détaillé de Akihabara, adresses de toutes les boutiques manga/anime les plus importantes (y’a même une boutique WWE), tous les maid-café, manga-café, et autres trucs glauques réservés aux plus foireux des otakus comme des indications pour se rendre aux ‘endroits sacrés’ (ces endroits ‘IRL’ qui ont servi de modèle dans certains anime comme le temple Washinomiya dans Lucky Star).

Ils ont même pensé aux nanas, avec des adresses de butler-café et autres host-clubs. Sans parler des articles présentant ce qu’il faut voir selon votre ‘otakuisme’ (Mecha-otaku, maid-otaku, tetsudou-otaku, koujou-otaku, military-otaku, et j’en passe). Bref, un bon bouquin qui trahit mes intentions une fois sur place. XD

Tin… maintenant que j’y pense, j’ai quand même pas mal de préparation à faire. Le plus important étant : qu’est-ce que je vais putain de prendre avec moi pour aller là-bas ? :/

Rien qu’avec Kyonko et ses accessoires, ça prend déjà pas mal de place… Et quand je vois mes figmas, ma DS, mes junks, mes cours de jap, et mes 3 sacs de courses qui débordent de manga, je commence à m’inquiéter. ^^; Surtout que j’ai pas trop envie de me séparer de mes trucs. Y’a bien la solution de me faire envoyer par colissimo le reste de mes affaires sur place, mais 1) je sais pas encore où je vivrai, 2) si par malheur je reste ‘juste’ un an, c’est rebelote dans l’autre sens (sans parler de ce que j’aurai acheté sur place), et 3) y’en a VRAIMENT BEAUCOUP.

Va falloir que je commence à faire du tri…

Some weeks ago, I came across the first volume of a iM@S manga at Book-Off.

Since I wasn’t expecting anything good from it, I put that book way back in my reading queue, and I finally gave it a read some days ago.

As a iM@S fanboy, I had to make a post about it. And well, made already a post about ‘Break !’ (see here) so I had to make a post about this one too.

‘relations’ is a 2 volumes-long manga which as been released last year. The art isn’t as good as in ‘Break’, and it gets 0 service, but I must say that I found the story way, WAY better. Yup, surprisingly enough, the story is rather interesting, making it the best iM@S related manga I’ve read so far.

As I did for ‘Break’, I won’t go for a long summary of the story, so I’ll just throw the usual random scans with comments.

Unlike ‘Break’, ‘relations’ features all the idols from the game, but the main character is actually Miki.

A short time after having recruited Miki, Producer-san decides to make her start as a member of a trio unit, the ‘Namco Angels’, with Iori and Yukiho.
Surprisingly, the author’s choice works and it ends up being a rather cute trio~, GJ !

In this manga, Chihaya is already a top idol, nicknamed ‘the idol who never smiles’. She was Producer-san’s former protégé, but they ‘broke up’ for some mysterious reason, which is apparantly why she constantly has this sad face.

On the other side, Producer-san decides to use her new protégé’s bright smile as her #1 charm point (who said that her main charm point was her breasts ?).

But when the trio finally gets some popularity, Producer-san decides to disband it so Miki can make her solo debut.

Then, Miki starts feeling all lonely, and misses Iori and Yukiho. That was cute~

But after some words from her two friends, Miki finally gets a grip of herself.
M : ” ‘Top Idol’ is the summit, right ?”
P : “?”
M : “It’s the best, right ?”
P : “Well, yeah.”
M : “Everybody will have to do what I say, right ?”
P : “Well… That’s a bad way to put it, but yeah in this business you can have this kind of power…”
M : “Then, I’ll become a Top Idol ! You said that I should have an objective ? Then I’ll become a Top idol, I’ll become famous enough to be able to go against your decisions, and reform the Namco Angels. That’s my objective.”
Man that was kind of cool~

At the very end of the book, we get to see what actually happened between Chihaya and Producer-san.
Chihaya is a genius who lives only for the music, but because of that she always has been alone. One day, a beginner producer joins the Namco prod., and becomes the one in charge of Chihaya.

This new producer actually has some knowledge about music, and Chihaya finally finds somebody she can share her passion with.

But because of Chihaya’s high abilities, Producer-san starts to feel useless, and says to Chihaya that she doesn’t need him anymore.

From here starts a race for the Idol Master Grand Prix between the ‘Egao no Tensai’ and the ‘Egao no nai idol’~

That’s all for this book. It gets more goodness so be sure to check it if you’re a iM@S fan. I’m leaving to japan soon so I don’t feel like spending money ordering the second book, but I really look forward to it and hope I will come across it at Book-off~

Quand je dessine en tout petit et sans grande motivation (souvent en attendant un truc à la tv), les persos ont l’air tout bizarre et SD…

Vu que c’est assez rare que je ponde quelque chose, je l’ai scanné. C’était aussi pour voir à quoi ça allait ressembler une fois scanné, parce que ça donne toujours une impression différente une fois sur l’écran. Je vous demanderai de pas être trop regardant pour ce coup-là (je veux dire, plus que d’habitude orz)…

Là on voit que c’est le genre de truc où j’ai même la flemme de regarder sur mon iPod à quoi ressemble vraiment ses cheveux. Je sais que pour Hinagiku je devrai donner le meilleur de moi-même mais bon, I fail on many points.

Vous me direz que vient faire Mugi-chan de K-On avec Hinagiku et Ayumu de Hayate, je répondrai “nan to naku”.

Le lendemain, juste après avoir maté RAW, je me suis dit que j’allais pas laisser ça comme ça et j’ai refais un petit essais avant d’aller me coucher.

En plus gros, et avec un peu plus d’effort (pas trop quand même). Je suis quand même plus à l’aise en dessinant un peu plus gros.

Pourtant, je mets toujours pas assez d’effort pour Hinagiku apparement… orz

lol Je sais pas pourquoi mais quand Hamzawa-san sourit je dessine ses ‘couettes’ en haut du crane et quand elle est triste je les dessine en bas (cf. Hamzawa-san no yuuutsu).

Celui-là je l’aime bien donc je l’ai mis dans la galerie.
Je suis pas vraiment sûr pour les cheveux, je sais pas pourquoi mais elle me fait penser à Mikuru ou Kyon-Imouto quand elle a les cheveux détachés. Ouais, y’a aussi un peu de Roll que j’ai fais précédemment aussi. Là il était 2h du mat’ donc j’ai pas cherché à faire le haut du corps, j’arrangerai ça au moment de le colorier. Je rajouterai surement aussi Ayumu à côté pour faire genre ‘symétrie’. :)

Been a long time without manga posts.

And joy on earth, though I’ve almost forgotten about it, the newest Hayate volume got released in japan last week. Got released here yesterday, and immediately gave it a read because HAYATE CAN’T WAIT.

This cover is HAWT (Hamzawa-san).

And since every new Hayate release is a major event to me, here is the obligatory random scans post. Well, compared to previous Hayate posts, I don’t really have that much to post this time. Actually, somewhat like the previous volume, this book was a ‘transition’ volume. The ‘Wataru-mama arc’ ended, and the rest of the book is about the crew getting ready and gathering in Greece for what will probably be the most important arc of the manga and which would probably starts in next volume (I’m just hoping that this arc won’t be the last one orz).

One particular thing I want to say though :

Izumi is the one for Hayata-kun.

My love for Izumi grew a bit again after reading this book. Well, since I’m all for a Ayu x Hina pairing and that Sakuya’s chances for getting Hayate are near from 0%, I’m now totally rooting for a Hayate x Izumi ending. Ok, it gets like 1% of chance to happen but still… Izumi is MAI ENJE~RU.

Ok, time to deliver some <3s.

Wataru-mama : “Long ago, there was a person who was loved even by God. I really loved that person. You can call it ‘adoration’ too. But one day, this person got married with somebody else. It was a huge shock to me.”

At first, I thought that Wataru-mama was gay for Nagi-mama because of the flashback pic. But now that I think of it, since she doesn’t mention any name, it is also possible that she was in love with the guy Nagi-mama got married with. As for why the guy looks like Hayate… well, let’s not think too deeply about it, and just guess that it means that Nagi-mama was in love with her butler. Probably not Hayate’s big bro, or else it would make Hayate to be Nagi’s uncle XD

I like seeing Miki and Risa supporting Izumi’s love for Hayata-kun. Well, they mostly pick on her, and I guess that Miki would be glad to see Hayate out of the picture and not interfering with her yuri love for Hinagiku. XD But still, that’s lovely.

Hamzawa-san too finally gets her ‘snow-white’ scene. I guess it make her being a step forward Hinagiku. Well, on a side note, I get the feeling that Hina’s chances for getting Hayate are dropping down badly. Firstly because of her ‘I hate to lose so I’m waiting Hayate to confess to me instead of confessing to him’ attitude, and secondly, as Hamzawa-san said in this volume, Hinagiku is just too great for Hayate XD
… That saddens me a bit though…

On a side note, I’m still watching the anime version. That’s the exact adaptation of the manga, so no surprises but very enjoyable, I’m totally satisfied with this show. It’s a gallery of cute faces. Made some screenies, I think I’ll make a post about it later.
