I’ve been wondering why I couldn’t find anything about “Nyankoi !” on the english internet… It’s because it’s been romanized as “Nyan Koi !” orz (dunno, for some reason I was thinking ‘nyanko’ when I saw the title and thought it was some kind of pun)

Anyway, I’m glad I came across this manga back then (see post about the first volume), because I’ve read the second volume last week and it was really nice~

Time for some random scans~ (been a while)

Some big jerk who has been introduced at the end of the first volume, Ichinose-sempai, challenges Junpei.

But Junpei totally forgot about it and the guy caught a cold for having stayed 3 days on the school’s roof waiting for Junpei XD

“Junpei Kousaka ! Let’s fight for knowing who will get Kaede Mizuno !”

And he’s not only a jerk, but he’s also some rich bastard.

Ichinose-sempai happens to have a cat, Josephine (XD). It asks Junpei to help Ichinose-sempai to find love, because it’s after being rejected by his first love that he became such a jerk.

But helping Ichinose-sempai means giving up on Kaede !
And not giving up on Kaede means becoming a cat !
Pinch !

Once the girls are out of the picture, Ichinose-sempai can finally have his challenge. And yeah, he’s a kendoka (classic~).

When thunder suddenly strikes nearby…

Even if Junpei is actually not aware of it, it’s ‘mission complete’ XD

Since Ichinose-sempai is in love with both Junpei and Kaede, she decides to ‘back-up’ Junpei and Kaede’s relationship XD
But Kanako won’t let that to happen~

After that, it gets a chapter which introduced the obligatory scatterbrained onee-san character : Chizuru, a postwoman with no sense of direction XD
A lovely chapter, kinda iyashi-kei <3

Man, I love the fact that this love-triangle manga suddenly became a harem manga <3

This manga is really a nice surprise, because, just like I said in the post about the first volume, I just picked it randomly in the second-handed books and I wasn’t really expecting too much from it. But it ends up being great <3

The 3rd volume got released about 2 weeks ago, and I’m waiting for it to be delivered. Also, it became popular enough in japan for them to make an anime version~

I wonder why it’s being snobbed by the scanlation limbo, though… well, not that I particularly care anyway…
